2025 Advocacy Organization Partner Application Form

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 15th Anniversary Dance for World Community Festival, Greater Boston’s largest and famously inclusive dance event.

The indoor/outdoor event will include five performance stages, various dance forms presented by over 60 dance groups, free introductory-level dance classes and exhibitors along “Advocacy Way” on Massachusetts Avenue between Bow Street and Putnam Avenue. A free event for all to enjoy, the annual festival brings together diverse dance performers, dance instructors and activists from local arts, social service and advocacy agencies to raise awareness about critical social issues and the growing urgency to promote world peace and climate justice, and celebrate the power of dance, and the arts in general, to create social change.

This annual event draws a diverse audience as well as prominent media exposure, making it a unique partnership opportunity for your organization. All are welcome to join the celebration.

The deadline to apply is April 30, 2025. Applicants will be notified of their acceptances on a rolling basis, with the final notification on May 1, 2025.

Please note that there is a $30 fee to host a table at the festival (includes table, tablecloth, and two chairs).

FESTIVAL PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

I am aware that dance and the exercises associated with it can place stresses on the body and can risk physical injury. On behalf of the above named organization and myself, I assume this risk and agree that José Mateo Ballet Theatre will not be liable in any way for injuries sustained during participation in the event or related activities.

I grant José Mateo Ballet Theatre the right to make and use photographic and audiovisual documentation of me to be used for philanthropic, promotional, and other mission related purposes. (In no case will your identity be disclosed without written consent.)

I understand that the primary method of communication from José Mateo Ballet Theatre is email through Constant Contact or Gmail in order to send announcements and other pertinent event information.
